KID PIX 5 - The STEAM Edition 1.0

The first KID PIX to include an iPad version, the new S.T.E.A.M. edition of KID PIX® 5 delves into a realm where art and science intersect and critical thinking merges with creative expression. This edition empowers young artists to transform their digital narratives and escapades into interactive digital art, science, and math projects tailored for budding innovators. With innovative button actions, students can now craft interactive quizzes or develop educational games. By utilizing an array of animated costumes and videos they capture themselves, children can take the spotlight in their documentaries or engage in conversations with animated characters that share the screen.

New in this edition:

• Path gestures: Rotating and resizing stickers, animations, movies, and text along a path is effortless with simple pinching and dragging. This feature facilitates the creation of characters that hop, leap, soar, and twirl across the screen.
• Interactive tappable objects: Students are no longer constrained by a linear model; they can create interactive characters that respond when tapped — narrating a story, singing a tune, producing a humorous sound, or zooming around the screen.
• Collaborative video narration: Utilizing the iPad's dual-view camera, two students can collaborate to create a video narration. They can appear in animated costume frames to not only narrate their tales onscreen but also star as characters within them.
• Presentation creator: Slide Shows and stop-motion flipbook movies can be crafted on the paint canvas screen using the new Slide Show Tube.
• Create stickers: With new tools, users can fashion an object from any on-screen element.
• Button stickers: Newly introduced button stickers enable the addition of interactive navigation features in Slide Shows, such as pause, advance to the next page, and go back a step.
• Object sounds: Users can now attach sounds directly to objects that play upon being tapped. This includes options like recording personal voices, musical instruments, or sound effects to create ticking clocks, talking dragons, or whimsical instruments that produce animal noises.
• Auto-perspective: Bring depth to path animations with this novel feature. Objects grow larger as they descend towards the bottom and shrink as they ascend towards the top of the canvas, providing an illusion of proximity and distance.
• Enhanced Help mode: Instant informative assistance for all on-screen elements is easily accessible with just a tap in this mode.
• Voiceovers: Users can record full-length narrations for Slide Shows or grant voices to all characters in animated narratives.
